Beats
- The default warp mode is designed for drum loops. Relies on short transients to manipulate, and stretch, the loop. Not ideal for melodic loops, synth shots, etc.
Tones
- Designed for sounds with clear pitch (Vocals, Synth, Bassline, ETC)
Texture
- For sounds that don't have complex melodic or pitch properties, you want to keep. Similar grain style, experiment with flux to create wild results
Re-Pitch
- Think of turntables. Will speed up, or slow down, to match global tempo. Pitch is adjusted in doing so. Don't use it if you want to retain the same pitch.
Complex
- Designed to warp complex audio files. This mode is the most CPU-intensive. Attempts to preserve all rhythmic and tonal qualities of the file
Complex Pro
- Like complex, adds formant & envelope features, Formant tries to preserve the natural sound. envelope adjusts spectral qualities
